Hypnotherapy will not make you skinny
It’s the New Year. Maybe you’ve made a resolution to have a health kick, to take up the latest diet plan or maybe it’s the not so subtle advertising making you feel fat. Sorry to break it to you but Hypnotherapy will not make you skinny.
Controversial coming from a Hypnotherapist! I do not have a magic wand and I will not make you drop two dress sizes in 2 weeks and anything that promises you that it can do that is probably a load of rubbish and/or not very unhealthy for you. Fad diets, quick fixes and anything vaguely unrealistic is not for me. I believe in creating healthy long-term habits, moving your body, having a balanced diet but also living your life!
That belief underpins my “This is not a diet” Weight Loss Program. My approach supports you to realign your negative eating habits and redefine your relationship with food and exercise. You will enjoy a slow and steady weight loss of around 2lbs per week, the difference being that this will be a permanent weight loss compared to yo-yo dieting for example.
I will help you to understand your current thoughts and habits by identifying the reasons why you overeat, for example:
– You eat to reward yourself
– You eat to lessen an unpleasant experience
– You eat because you want to be noticed
– You eat when you need love
– You eat because you are afraid
I will then develop your own bespoke plan to create new healthy habits because I don’t need to tell you what a healthy balanced diet looks like you already know that. What I have found the biggest influence in this program is supporting individuals to improve their self-esteem. With improved self-worth my clients actually want to make the changes and create the healthiest life possible for themselves.
